Army veteran and 30 years DOD heavy equipment inspector.

  2. BRADDAH LLOYD,IT WAS SO SAD TO JUST SCROLL PASS AND READ ALL THESE NAMES AND SEE THEIR PICTURES OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE PASSED THAT WE KNEW AND GREW CLOSE TO FROM OUR EARLY YEARS THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL AND BEYOND. I WAS HOPING TO SEE THEM AT THE 45th CLASS REUNION OF 2014, AND DID NOT KNOW THOSE CLASSMATES HAVE PASSED,SOME OF THEM WERE SO YOUNG. I THANK YOU FOR THE INFO AND OBITUARY OF ALL THAT LEFT US,AND HOPE ( IF GOD’S WILLING,TO BE AT OUR 65YEAR OLD PARTY THIS COMING AUGUST) MAY THEIR SOULS BE BLESSED AND WENT TO BE WITH OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. GOD BLESS ALL WHO IS STILL WITH US,AGAIN ,MAHALO BRADDAH LLOYD,ALOHA

  3. Brother Lloyd,
Good job on the memorial remembrance of our lost but not forgotten brothers and sisters of class 1969 WHS alumni. Its been a long time since but it still brings a tear to my eye when viewing.
To all my surviving brothers and sisters class of 1969 WHS, “The well being of your family, the well being of you individually and the love for your god takes precedence over any other consideration you may think is important. Love and Aloha Gerald Reyes

  4. Of the three people that recently passed on: Enrick Oritz, Randy Solon, and Darryl Cambia: I used to shoot pool with Enrick, was in the same National Guard unit with Randy, and went to karate classes with Darryl. I can picture each of them. Aloha my friends.

  5. Lloyd, thanks for the post, I recognize and remember their faces even though it has been so many years ago. Cherish those memories while you still can. I wish to convey my condolences to the families of all classmates who have passed.

  6. Stan Sakai relayed a message from Ralph Suniga that Lucinda Silva Ancheta passed away on December 23 on Kauai. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, January 12, 2015 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Kapaa.

  7. … it is “Time” in whose favor all things are stacked …. Yes, we too were “Once Immortal” … but even that too Fleeting a Thing and like Ambrosia, of the Greeks, meant for us only to taste but once, that Immortality …. then to only Hunger for it there after …. Of my friends here, for the next few weeks, months, a thought of them shall pass through me, touching gently leaving a familiar warmth, and a smile …. I miss them, yet continue to keep bits of them close ….

  8. Mahalo Lloyd… I am saddened by the passing of so many of my classmates… have not attended recent reunions… perhaps the 50th before more of our fellow Marauders pass… Thanks again
    John Alejado

  9. Lloyd, thanks for the new memorial post.

have not seen these people since high school, but still feel sad.

  10. Life is so fleeting. Health issues arise that we never thought we’d have while in high school. Remembering my classmates brings warm feelings of the simple life, rich in friendships
and an unhurried, uncomplicated life. Hoping we can enjoy our “golden years” now more
than ever. Wishing you all the very best!

  11. Thank you for the memories this Thanksgiving, Lloyd. It really was a sad reminder of how precious we must live each moment of our remaining years. Take care and much Aloha, haro.
